NFL star C.J. Spiller mentors inmates at Bradford Co. jail
STARKE, Fla.- He’s gained nearly 5,000 yards rushing and receiving as an NFL star for the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. However, this week, C.J. Spiller is gaining respect for his off the field work.
Spiller spent part of the past weekend mentoring inmates at the Bradford County Jail in Starke. The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office posted about Spiller’s visit on their Facebook page.
Spiller is a native of Lake Butler and was a star player for Union County High School before playing college football at Clemson.
Spiller was in town to attend a flag football game and visited the jail after.
